Service Description

School Ready Express – Group 2 Monday 12th January – Friday 16th January 2026 (children attend each day) 10:45-12:00pm SailAway's School Ready Express Group 2 is designed for children who have already begun their reading journey and are ready to extend their early literacy skills. These children typically: +Have some early phonics knowledge and know many of the sounds made by the 26 letters of the alphabet +Can blend sounds together to make words (for example, when hearing “s-i-t,” can say “sit”) +Can sound out and read simple consonant-vowel-consonant (CVC) words +Are beginning to recognise familiar words in texts The program focuses on: +Consolidating letter-sound knowledge +Extending children’s ability to read and write simple words that include a range of sounds. +Building reading fluency +Social skills +Confident communication Join us this summer to jump start your child's Prep journey!
